This time I bring you a little adventure under Windowz
, it’s about changing the boot logo of the Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO
motherboard.
We download the BIOS
from the
Asus website.
Drivers and Utilities -> BIOS & FIRMWARE -> BIOS: MAXIMUS VIII HERO BIOS 3802 Version 3802 8.22 MB 2018/04/27

And also ASUS AI Suite
from the
Asus website.
Drivers and Utilities -> Drivers and Utilities -> Utilities: ASUS AI Suite 3 V1.01.28 Install Program for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit / 8.1 64bit / 10 64bit. Version 1.01.28 205.7 MB 2015/11/10

NOTE: The correct version is: ASUS AI Suite 3 V1.01.28 Install Program for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit / 8.1 64bit / 10 64bit. Version 1.01.28 205.7 MB 2015/11/10
, it’s the most recent one that includes ASUS EZ Update.
I’m leaving a copy of everything needed
uploaded to AlfaExploit
, just in case the tools eventually disappear from the official website.
We extract both the BIOS
and the ASUS AI Suite
installer, then run the latter (if we try to install directly from the compressed file, it will throw an error) by executing Setup.exe
.
Select all programs, install, and reboot.

The BIOS finishes the installation on its own:
Once it reboots, we’ll be able to see the updated logo:
